The world of pokemon is inhabited by creatures called pokemon. There are 493 pokemon in existance. Besides the Pokemon T.V. shows and movies, pokemon also appear in video games, trading card games, and in manga books.

In each regeon there are special pokemon that you can only find there. The Kanto regeon was where it all started. Ash got his Pikachu and started his journey to become a Pokemon master by beating the eight gyms and the pkmn league. Joining with Misty and Brock the fun began. Although Team Rocket always seem to follow, there plans usually (always) get foiled by Ash and co. Along with battling Gary Oak there was always exitement.

Following a mission from Prof. Oak to get the mysterios GS ball the heroes end up in the Orange Islands- a bunch of islands off the coast of Kanto-where Brock ends up researching with Prof. Ivy and Ash and Misty meet Tracey Sketchit - a pokemon watcher- and of coarse Team Rocket follows. On the Orange Islands is the orange league where there are four gyms (the orange crew) and the orange league.

By now Tracey has gone to help prof. Oak and Brock has come back. Time to travel! in Jhonto there are again 8 gyms and a pkmn league, but most importantly there are new pokemon, such as Ledyba, Togepi, and Natu. And of coarse Team Rocket follows (hopefully with better ideas).

Misty has gone back to Cerulean City, and Ash and Brock have left for Hoenn where there are not only the ordinary gyms and pkmn league, but there is a whole new breed of fun-pkmn contests! Pokemon co-ordinaters compete with their Pokemon to win ribbons. Win 5 ribbons and you can be entered in the Grand Festival. Ash and Brock have met with a young pkmn co-ordinater, May, and her little brother, Max. And like always Team Rocket is right behind them hunting for Pikachu and other valuble new Pokemon such as Lotad, Azurill, and Whismur.

Going back to Kanto with Brock, May, and Max, Ash challenges the Battle Frontier to win a number of different symbols for beating the frontier brains and later gets asked to become a frontier brain which he declines, with Team Rocket following all the way.

Dawn is here! May and Max have gone back to Hoenn and Brock has found his way back to Ash. Dawn is a young co-ordinater from Twinleaf Town. When finding Ash's Pikachu that got blasted by TR (yes they're back) Dawn franticly trys to find the owner (Pikachu also fryed Dawn's bike as well as Misty's and May's). Ash and Dawn meet up while battling TR and decide to travel together (Ash Dawn Brock). Ash has Paul as a new rival and Dawn has Zoey and her old friend Kenny. So Far Ash has won the Coal Badge and the Forest Badge, And Dawn has won the Floaroma Ribbon.
